Hey thank you!! Are you a producer as well?
Unless you want the solo to be the main focus of the section/song, I’d keep it simple and smooth like you did here. If you want it to be flashy I’d definitely try and learn some more advanced techniques like tapping and sweep-picking to make it sound even cooler. But this is just coming from an aspiring 15 year old guitarist. Good work, man!

@@jackbradbury6576 yooooo! So im actually a mentor in a producer group called "Producer Accelerator" Where we do live calls, have a bunch of tutorials/modules, beat battles etc... I think its the best thing for people trying to learn production cause you get to learn directly from mentors like me and the other mentors in the group!
@@BeautifulBeats99 Wow, thanks dude. As mentioned before, I’m only 15 so naturally I don’t have a lot of money but this is something I could talk to my parents about and something that I could look into for the future cause this is definitely something that would really benefit me.

As a guitarist your doing perfect! don't get too in deep on technicality unless you really want it for yourself. as much as I hate to admit it no one really cares about flashy solos other than guitarists and metal heads lol. if you want some different sounds try and find some modes or scales that you dont normally use but would still fit the progression. Or you can try using leading notes / chromatics to make some tension. easy way to get some tasty sounding notes in there !

I agree with all of these suggestions! I work a full time job, in the gym everyday and I have a family as well. For the past year I wake up 2 hours before work and go straight to my home studio. Those 2 hours are anything music production. It could be learning a new scale on guitar, mixing, mastering, ect.
